Synthetic Wig Care Tips

Proper care helps maintain the beauty, softness, and longevity of your premium synthetic wig.

Before Wearing

  • Gently remove the wig from packaging 

  • Adjust straps or elastic band for a secure fit

  • Use fingers or a wide-tooth comb to style

  • Apply a synthetic-safe spray if needed

Heat Styling

  • Confirm the wig is heat-friendly before applying heat

  • Use low heat only (250–300°F max)

  • Never apply heat to wet synthetic hair

  • Excessive heat may permanently damage fibers

  • Avoid excessive restyling to reduce frizz and shedding.

Daily Care

  • Detangle gently, starting from the ends and working upward

  • Avoid friction from clothing, scarves, and seat backs

  • Use a synthetic wig spray or leave-in conditioner to maintain softness.

  • Do not brush or comb while wet

  • Limit excessive touching to prevent frizz

Washing Instructions

Wash only when there is product buildup or after 7–10 wears.

  1. Fill a sink or bowl with cool water

  2. Add a small amount of synthetic wig shampoo

  3. Submerge wig and gently swish (do not scrub)

  4. Rinse thoroughly with cool water

  5. Apply synthetic conditioner (avoid roots)

  6. Rinse and gently blot with a towel

  7. Place on a wig stand and air dry

Storage

  • Store on a wig stand, mannequin head or in original packaging

  • Keep away from heat and direct sunlight

  • Do not store while damp or wet

  • Use a satin or silk bag for travel or long-term storage.
